This generic financial planning service is NOT authorised or regulated by the Financial Services Authority as it does not provide product related regulated advice.
Our service in more detail
Is this you:
- Do you have too much month left at the end of the money?
- Do you have problems managing your debt?
- Do you want to try to be more responsible with your money?
- Do you want financial planning help but can't afford IFA fees?
- Do you want someone to give you completely impartial advice?
- Are you fed up using one-off calculators on the web?
- Do you want a report that you can refer back to at any time?
- Do you want advice on financial decisions that you struggle with?
- Are you trying to plan your finances but can't seem to pull everything together?
- Have you read books but still don't seem to be any better at managing your money?
- Do you wish for someone "in the know" who can help you avoid pitfalls?
If the answer to any of these questions is "YES" then this service is designed for you and we
hope will be of great value to you.
By providing us with some basic financial information, we will produce for you a personalised
financial planning report which will help to answer some of the questions you have.
We are UNIQUE for TWO reasons:
- Pay what you can basis of charging
- MyfinancialPlan financial planning tool
Our charging structure is on a pay what you can afford fee basis. (See below). Regulation of the
Financial Planning process will restrict us from giving certain types of advice, but we will tell
you quickly if you are asking us questions that financial regulation does not permit us to answer.
We also provide our financial planning service by using our uniquely designed myfinancialplan planning
tool which pulls together all aspects of an individual's finances to enable us to give a complete
overview of the situation.
Both of these aspects combined means that you cannot get this unique service from any other provider
currently.
How we charge for our services:
Our unique charging structure is that although we have a guide price of £40 per hour (including VAT),
we acknowledge that not everyone will be able to afford this level of fees. We will therefore leave it up
to each and every client to pay what they can realistically afford and if that's nothing, we will accept
that. We hope that clients will not unduly take advantage of this offer.
If you are in a position however where you have gained great value from our services and are willing to pay
slightly more than this rate, you will be helping us to provide more services to more people, by keeping the
service running. We hope those who are able to, will respond generously to this offer.
We do reserve the right not to continue to provide services to any client who we feel could pay a fee but
chooses not to.
Why us?
You could go elsewhere for "advice" but:
- Banks and many other financial institutions often try to sell you things you don't need
- Ordinary fee based Financial Advisers can often be very expensive with hourly rates averaging £150 per hour, making advice unobtainable for many people
- Free services (eg CCCS or CAP*) are available via Charities but only usually for the worst cases
*CCCS is the Consumer Credit Counselling Service www.cccs.co.uk
CAP stands for Christians Against Poverty and are a Debt Counselling charity www.capuk.org

Do we need to meet you in person?
No. We can provide these services using the telephone, or by email, although it will be better to have a
face-to-face meeting - it usually is.
What we don't advise on?
- Because this service is non-regulated, we are not able to provide any financial products.
- We cannot therefore set up for you any regulated product such as a mortgage, pension or investment plan.
- We are not authorised to give investment advice.
- We believe this helps us to be completely impartial.
- We may refer you onto an authorised financial adviser if we feel this is what you need.
- If we make a referral we will not receive any introductory fee or commission for doing so. This again helps us to maintain our complete impartiality.
Summary:
We believe that the following are all essential parts of successful ongoing financial planning:
- Independent assessment of the issues you currently face
- Ability to talk through your own situation with someone who is:
- Completely impartial
- Suitably qualified
- Monitoring progress and ongoing assessment as well as encouragement to continue
Contact us now and we can start the process for you and with you.
